Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the coach position full time or part time?

A: Elevo’s programs vary from school to school and district to district. Programs can be anywhere from 5 – 40 hours per week.

Q: Will I be assigned to one school or multiple?

A: At Elevo we work as a team! You may be assigned one school but you may also be required to travel between multiple schools close by in the district to help the team as needed. You will receive your schedule from your regional manager in advance and will be able to see your school assignments clearly.

Q: Are there opportunities for advancement?

A: Yes! Coaches who do well will be considered for promotion to site lead or coach trainer. Beyond that, there are Regional Manager and Operations Manager positions and other departments too, so there’s a lot of room to grow.

Q: What is the interview process?

A: The first step is a phone interview with one of our Talent team members. If that goes well, you’ll be asked to participate in a group virtual interview. These sessions are 1 hour long and will give you an opportunity to show your personality and experience in a group setting. The next step after that is you will be invited to a field training/interview session where you’ll learn our games and curriculum. Your employment with us will be contingent on your performance at the field training. We’re looking for energetic coaches who are excited for the opportunity to be a role model for our students so be prepared with lots of enthusiasm and ready to have fun!

Q: Can I work at the same school as my friend?

A: We will try to accommodate, but it isn’t a guarantee.

Q: What games do we play?

A: Special Social Emotional Learning through physical activity integrated curriculum that our Elevo Curriculum team has created

Q: Which school will I work at?

A: We will assess you at our Field Training and send you your site assignment afterward.
